i think they've gained new fans with the new lp but the older ones don't like it as much.. i still think that the album is really good and has fab songs on it
i think that song is amazing but i prefer this picture. i'm surprised with that shit that placebo is pop band. they are out their minds! still here in croatia most people haven't heard about placebo. here in dubrovnik they listen mostly commercial music...
i'll never get this "i hate when my so called underground artist" gets famous. specially talking about placebo, that got famous with "without you i'm nothing" - and this is probably what most ppl call "their oldest stuff".
getting famous, it changes a band, it changes it's music and that's what fans should "worry" about, not the fact that "oh, now everybody knows it".

vocal A band usually gets famous because it's a good one. I think that Placebo's highest peak was in the WYIN era. Nowadays they don't get so much attention. But what do you care about a band's popularity if you really like their music.
But well, I too think it's irretating (sp) when even the geekest ppl like your fav band but I don't let it bother much.
So lets just all enjoy placebo even how famous or infamous they were.
