Raised in the tough urban environment of San Diego, California, this rapcore outfit (the acronym stands for Payable On Death) was formed in 1992 by Marcos (guitar) and Wuv (drums). Wuv's cousin Sonny Sandoval (vocals) joined the duo shortly afterwards, as the band built up a strong regional reputation in the local punk clubs, including the now defunct Soma, playing support slots to visiting bands including Green Day, the Mighty Mighty Bosstones and Cypress Hill. The band, which by now included bass...

@ Youth Of The Nation

Dang, I remember listening to this song when I was just a little kid when it first came out. I LOVE the message. I wish people would learn from it. This song came out like, how long ago? And it can still be related to the world these days..? WE ARE THE YOUTH OF THE NATION! It's up to us.

@ Youth Of The Nation

Great song, very insightful writer for such a young age. Youth, please remember songs like these, many can learn, relate this to their lives. Adults will teach you how not to raise a child, how not to treat people, how not to live, the rest you have to learn yourself. Right now you are the youth of the nation, soon you will be the nation... and the youth will be depending on you, bless.
