Song lyrics
i jumped in the river and what did I see?
black-eyed angels swimming with me
a moon full of stars and astral cars
all the figures i used to see
all my lovers were there with me
all my past and futures
and we all went to heaven in a little row boat

there was nothing to fear and nothing to doubt

i jumped in the river
black-eyed angels swimming with me
a moon full of stars and astral cars
all the figures i used to see
all my lovers were there with me
all my past and futures
and we all went to heaven in a little row boat

there was nothing to fear and nothing to doubt
there was nothing to fear and nothing to doubt
there was nothing to fear and nothing to doubt
there was nothing to fear and nothing to doubt

i dont think this song is about mythology somehow...

im not exactly sure... 'pyramid song' is one of the most different radiohead songs in my opinion.

it probly has a hidden meaning that noone would expect.

i like it tho. its eerily nice.

it's supposed to have some kind of connection with the odyssey book.

nah we got it all wrong, pyramid song (i read) is apparently based on a dream thom yorke had... im guessing the imagery has alot to show for the literal side of his dream.
the piano for this song is mad, its easy to play once you adjust to the rythm... people think its got an unheard of time signature but its still unbelievable 4/4.. so i read... but anyway, i can play it =] so yeah, i luv all radiohead songs, this one is one of my favourites for sure.

love the lyrics. bizarre creepy dream. it could be about that novel, but i dont think so. i think its about death (dunno if suicide, but death for sure) and how there is no fear then. on second thought, it COULD be about suicide.

its the beauty of real poetry, it can be interpreted in many ways.

i think it is about suicide,
someone who has been depressed for a long time and has wanted to commit suicide, and has finally released him or herself (im gonna say himself cause the person who wrote it is male) from their fears related to suicide. they have finally freed them self from everything they ever cared about from everything they ever worried about, from everything, and committed suicide, and finally as they were drowning, they were for once, not suffering, unlike what you might think drowning would be like, there was no suffering, they were finally free, it was peaceful and beautiful, just like the song, and as they were slowly fading away (dying), there was nothing to fear and nothing to doubt, they could finally be in peace forever.

that's what i think, you may disagree, and that's ok, it's just one opinion
