In the second half of the nineties experiment rise up then extremely successfully with classical Orchestrierung. Again stressed those volume their exception position in the German scene, arises even with a complete orchestra and on the largest European Festivals with Ovationen is celebrated. After this extremely fruitful phase, documents by albums such as Lingua Mortis (1996) and to XIII (1998), volume head Peavy rings by an occupation change a new era. With that Byelorussian multi-instrument valleyists Victor Smolski (guitar, key board) as well as that American schlagzeuger Mike Terrana pushes internationally experienced musicians too rises up. Now the third album in the international LINE UP follows with SOUNDCHASER, and again walk rise up in front. In Peavys own words: "we were with UNITY on the correct way, but the current numbers come simply better on the point. Our new Songs works more compactly and determines with very melodischen, in-usual Refrains immediately in the ear." MORE SOUNDCHASER sounds above all still more varied than his predecessor. Because the new album supplies one beside leg-hard Metal shells, like the two Openern ' was OF Worlds ' and ' Great old Ones ', with ' Flesh and Blood ' finally again the strong Halbballaden in best rising up tradition. Or it ties for example with ' Secrets in A Weird World ' to the orchestrale past. Thus enough, do not push rise up with the epischen two-divisor ' Falling From Grace ' into new dimensions of the dynamics forwards, whereby the guest appearance of Andi Deris (Helloween) gives an additional attraction to the first part of ' Wake The Nightmares '. This Silberling is improved again by the clay-technical arts of success producer Charlie farmer enemy, whom the volume could win again for a co-operation. UNITY was already characterised by a very pressureful modern sound, but the feat succeeded to reveal on SOUNCHASER a still more sophisticated klangbild.
Also contentwise Peavy dedicates itself to the music its volume with whole strength. After GHOSTS (1999) for the second time a concept album is present with SOUNDCHASER. Already for a long time the fans ask for the mysterious nature, which decorates numerous rising up albums since 1988 as Maskottchen. Now finally Peavy reveals a part of the mystery: It concerns a "Soundchaser".
These biomechanical creatures became before primeval times of extraterrestial Intelligenzen, which "large old persons" of the American writer H. P. Lovecraft, as defensive weapon production, who react particularly to acoustic signals. Modern expeditions discovered remnants and structural drawings of the Soundchaser in enormous hoehlensystemen under the eternal ice of the Antarctic. The modern science built new Soundchaser, combined it with human gene material and entered to them a pronounced musical understanding. Activated by music, arrived Soundchaser in secret missions against dictators and terrorists to the employment. Hidden from the public, the intelligent Soundchaser could exchange their thoughts and feelings only among themselves, but as biomechanical mixing natures also they had to finally look to death in the eye. MORE SOUNDCHASER tells the last one of his kind, which died lonely and forgotten... of one
