Travis brought the music back to its basics, sounding like nothing so much as a perfect blend of George Jones and Merle Haggard. He became the dominant male voice in country until the rise of "hat acts" like Garth Brooks and Clint Black, releasing seven consecutive number...

Excuse me Sexytractor! But you don't come to a area where most of the people who are going to be here at this song are christians, and you use that word. I really don't apprectiate it!

Anyways getting to the song. This is a really great song with a strong message. It shows us, that even though we may not understand why things happen the way they do. Like we might not understand why God allowed a woman who was deep in sin up to her eyeballs, to live, over a Pastor who spent his whole life in service to the Lord. But God had a reason. He saw that great things could happen in the future if he allowed the hooker to live and the pastor die. This is truly a great song.
