Red Hot Chili Peppers are a funk rock/alternative rock band that have transformed themselves along with popular music since the early 80s. The Peppers are based in Los Angeles, California and were formed in 1983. The band initially formed as a joke act, calling themselves Tony Flow and the Miraculously Majestic Masters of Mayhem. Upon renaming themselves The Red Hot Chili Peppers, they played a handful of small club venues in Los Angeles in 1983, before they were signed to EMI Records. Singer... »
