I think this song is about a guy talking to some guy at a bar that wants to pick a fight, and the man singing just wants to get along and be brothers with the him and the patrons. Very fitting for the "mexican" kind of feel the song has.

That song is an attack to the racist people in the California-Mexico Border (Molotov is mexican) So its kinda a way from the California band to say: I don't have any troubles with you, so let's chill out and be friends. I haven't heard any song replying carbon from Molotov but I think they got the idea. Molotov is a rough lyrics band though, maybe they don't care what the Peppers say about them. I still think the Peppers did a good thing telling them they don't have any problems with them and just be cool. "One good thing about music is that when it hits, you feel no pain." said Bob Marley once, so both of them may feel like, "yeah yeah, say what you want, I love my music and don't fear you" Still a great song for just chillin out and havin a good time... and yes, Cabron is a bad word in spanish speaking, so its strictly related each to the other. PS: Frijolero means beaner, some kind of insult from "gringos" to the mexicans, you know, mexicans love beans and in that song they insult each other, the americans and mexicans, so maybe the answer from the Peppers is a good one, in my opinion.

I personally work with many many mexicans, forcing me to have had to learn spanish. CABRON directly translates to GADDAMN. That's it just goddamn. Also the last line on the chorus is not about singing about local news. It's, "Tonight's the night for singing song about the love from you."

89 posts	okay. you are all wrong. i am mexican and i will tell you what cabron means. it doesnt mean goat, dumbass (although it is the closest one) or goddamn. it means asshole. well not literally hehe.. but its like telling someone he's an asshole or a son of a bitch. and i think the guy who said the thing about the frijolero song is right. im guessing its a response of sorts.. or at least a way of saying "hey, chill, im not an enemy"
