This song is so fantastic...it has either gotta be this one or the 'Ghost of Corporate Future' which is the best from the album...it makes me tearful all the time, but I feel so happy after listening to it....grinning like a loon lol- best song ever

it is a good song this is true, but what does it mean?
i think maybe its about that time when you just realised that the world is not what you thought when you were young, you see youre living in a den of theives trying to find the answers to your problems. and we never find them untill finally theres a time (when you die) and are at peace and people finally know you were meaningful and remember you (with statues and naming cities) and its not that this song is about killing yourself, no its not, its that i think this song means once you realise that the world can be evil you can find happiness in the little things like bubble gum and photographs while you still have time. its like the song is telling us to enjoy our lives. maybe thats not what it means but, i know thats what it means to me and whenever i hear it i think of things i am thankful for like the love of my boyfriend. its a great song, regina spektor has talent!

Hey fellow "us" fans! i love this song, and as i have gathered so does everone else!
To me it means that despite everything that happens, and everythig we see and hear on the news, there is always good things happening too. Even if it is just the smallest thing that makes a person smile even for a second then it was worth doing it. As i listen to it now, it makes me feel happy because i know that no matter how much people try to pull you apart and look at every detail of you to try and find something wrong, they will always find good things!
