I think the song can be overplayed easily because it really doesnt have a change in mood. The whole song is at the same level. It's a good level and a good song but you can get tired of it.

It just doesn't seem truely happy clappy to me, more depressed trying to look happy... but maybe that's just me. And when he says 'shiny happy people holding hands' he sounds like he's about to cry or he's really emotionally torn up but again, probably just me.
