2 posts | I have seen Richard Gilewitz in concert several times and he never fails to amaze. This album does a great job of capturing the feel of one of his live shows including how he graciously appreciates the other musicians who on occasion join him on stage. His guitar playing is second to none and he makes it all look so easy. As a fingerstylist, I can attest to the fact that what he does with 6 and 12 string guitars is on the level of virtuosity. Buy this if you don't have the opportunity to see him live. Buy this to preserve the memory of his live shows. His repertoire is mind-bogglingly diverse and extensive. How can one man keep so much stored in his brain? |
