 Hey Guys, Haven't written to ya'll in ages, so thought I'd stop in and catch you up on some stuff... First of all, my brother John (UH Productions) just posted a new video from my last show...check it out at www.Youtube.com/RonPopeMusic For the next few weeks, every Wednesday, we'll be posting a new video there, so stop by, check them out and subscribe. This first video is of the band and I playing Jimi Hendrix's "Little Wing." We got to work with Matt Chamberlain (Pearl Jam, The Wallflowers, and pretty much everybody else)...Matt's one of my favorite drummers ever, and he was a pleasure to work with, so it was really a spectacular experience. I can't wait for all of you to hear the new version of "A Drop In The Ocean." It's starting to sound like I'd always hoped it would... I've been writing a lot recently. We're pretty close to done writing for my new album.
Next time you have a second, check out my friend Billy Simons's new stuff. We've always enjoyed playing shows together, and some time soon, we're going to work on some tunes for my new record.
