Tour Info, Video Blog, Chit Chat

 Hey Guys,
I'm writing you from my very own bed, back in New York. I'm in my pjs, sitting in front of an air conditioner, drinking Fiji water, listening to Skyler Stonestreet, quietly recovering from the road. I had a blast at Summerfest. We loved Milwaukee and met a ton of incredible people there. We got to hang out with the boys from Romantica, and Jim, who plays drums, even sat in with us for a set, playing pots and pans! For me, the highlight of the festival was getting to hear Zach's music performed by a full band for the first time. I had the honor of playing lead guitar and a bit of piano for him and it was such a blast. If you don't have the new Zach Berkman album 'Stumble,' pick it up on iTunes. I'm a big fan. For those of you who don't know, Zach and I write together a lot...we wrote the music for 'A Drop In The Ocean' together, and many others.
Two quick notes from me...
1. TOUR IDEA: If any of you are college students and would like me to perform at your school, send me an email at RonPopeMusic@gmail.com and tell me where you go to school. Since college booking people are usually students, they'd always rather hear from other students, so I'll find out who you need to email about booking me at your school, and then, if you wouldn't mind, you can just shoot them an email saying, "Hey, book this guy! I want to see him." That's pretty much all it takes. I think this will be a cool way to involve ya'll in the process of planning my next tour...
2. VIDEO BLOG: I now have a video blog on Moli...check it out www.Moli.com/RonPope While you're on my page, click the link and sign up to become a registered user. It's actually a really cool site and I'll be posting new content on the page all the time that you won't be able to find anywhere else. Right now, there are a few blogs from the festival...mostly me and the fellas goofing around.
