THAT I HAVE LIKED AND CHECKED OUT THE BAND AND COME TO POST A GOOD COMMENT ON IT, AT LEAST 4 OUT OF 5 PEOPLE JUST GET WRITTEN OFF FOR MENTIONING THE O.C. AND GET ACCUSED OF ONLY LIKING IT BECAUSE THEY HEARD IT ON THE SHOW. Okay, now that that's out, I just wanted to say I do agree that it's gay if you only like the song because they played it on your favourite show, and I know real fans would be mad at that, but you're killing the enjoyment for all the people who actually did their research and like the band and just want to praise the song but they can't because they'll get axed to death! So yeah, I wanted to say that Rooney rock out and I'm Shakin' is an awesome track. Hopefully I'm still alive tomorrow... |

I first saw them perform on the O.C., but I didn't like them because they were on that show, but because their music is great!! That's the same reason everyone else should like them. 121 posts | i like rooney, and ill admit, i heard of them mainly on the oc, but...i also heard about them from princess diaries-i just didnt follow up on them till recently. the oc is a hotspot for emerging artists, and they mention some great bands!! i guess im trying to say is get over the whole oc thing, who cares if they were on there its been done, nothing you can do about it!  |

Robert said in a radio interview, "It's about a time when I was 'sick'." He has also said other things about it though. He told one fan that it was about how the movie 'The Neverending Story' used to give him nightmares when he was younger. -I was a Rooney fan long before they were on The O.C., and I think it was a bad career move for them, and the episode they were on was really cheesy. However, they are selling triple the amount of CD's they did before that appearance, so in the end it was a good thing. -No, they only have one CD out, the self-titled one. Their next CD (which their guitarist Taylor does not agree with me when I say it should be named "Manzana") will be out early 2005. They're going to begin recording for this album very soon. In just a couple of weeks. -You can download a demo of Rooney's new song "In My Pocket" at [url]http: -Contrary to popular belief, "I'm Shakin'" was not Rooney's first single. "Blueside" was, back in May/June/July of 2003. -And a little fact about the "I'm Shakin'" music video: Although the video's sort of boring, those people in the crowd are real fans from LA that were invited out to the video shoot. Ned's brother Lucas, who is a lovable roadie for Rooney, can also be seen in the video in the crowd. |
