AboutRose (real name Keren Meloul) is a French singer & songwriter, born on May 24, 1978 in Nice, France. A brilliant student, she studied law before becoming a school teacher during 2 years. She took her stage name from Mark Rydell's film The Rose, inspired by Janis Joplin's life. In 2006, she was the supporting act of many artists. Her sweet voice & her music touched the audience. In September 2006, she released her debut album, between folk & jazzy ballads, Rose created her universe, with nice stories. In 2010, after the failure of her second album Les Souvenirs Sous Ma Frange, she has been fired from EMI/Source. In June 2011, her son Solal was born. Rose's third album Et Puis Juin came out in 2013 on Columbia/Sony Music.
