| Sakis Rouvas was born in Corfu island,Greece. His first passion was
gymnastics where he had achieved many national awards.He was also part of the Hellenic National Polo team. But very soon he was enchanted by music and singing.. His First professional appearanse was made in Athens in 1991. That is when -and where- the "Polygram" company discovered him and offered him his first contract. A few months later he made an outstanding deput performance in Thessaloniki's song Festival with his first song "par'ta", which won the first price. That was it. Sakis was the new, one and only top pop idol of greece with hundreds of girls screaming his name or even fainting away in each one of his concerts,or even when he was passing by.The "co-operastion" with the "genious man"Hlias Psinakis follows and makes Sakis the most loved singer of the decade. Fourteen years after his first appearance,and Sakis is More Beautiful and more mature than ever.His Latest album "s'exw erotefti" is allready platinum and Now Sakis is "challenging his luck" in L.A.
