For all of you that really think this song is about a goldfish your just plain stupid. It could be about alot of things but i highly doubt that it was ment to be about a goldfish. I personally think it is about someone he/they care about that has a problem with drinking or possibly drugs and they want them to get better cause they dont wanta see them end up dead.
