WHAT if a seemingly simple rose traps an old woman in a young lady’s body?
After causing a stir on his "big-switch," kapamilya Oyo Boy Sotto is back, this time with Sarah Geronimo, where sparks flew at the set of this month’s "Love Spell."
ABS-CBN’s hit "Love Spell" enchants your Sunday afternoons anew with this month’s special mini-series, "Sweet Sixty," which also stars Roxanne Guinoo, Jake Cuenca and award-winning actress Gina Pareño.
Directed by Andoy Ranay, "Sweet Sixty" is the story of sixty-year-old pessimist Doña Rosing (Gina Pareño) and her liberated granddaughter Anna (Roxanne Guinoo), who has a secret relationship with Brian (Jake Cuenca). Doña Rosing and Anna always clash. Upset by one of their fights, the grandmother decides to nurse her yard and is spotted by gardener Bong (Oyo Boy Sotto), who offers her a rose. After gardening, the old lady cries out of frustration and drops a tear on the rose – which magically transforms her into a young lady. Shocked but pleased by her new lease on youth, Doña Rosing then names herself Rose (Sarah Geronimo) and proceeds to enjoy herself – to the great annoyance of Anna.
But with the incredible experience, and the constant presence of the handsome Bong, will the old-fashioned Doña Rosing have a change of heart and finally open her heart?
Find out on "Love Spell’s" "Sweet Sixty" airing every Sunday starting May 6 only on ABS-CBN, right after "Your Song."
