Everybody has a different idea about what it's meaning is; for example, I believe the song is about a girl who's life is steeped in pain and death, but she meets an angel, and he takes it all away.
Thats just what I think. The point I am trying to make is that it doesn't matter what it was written about. The drug thing was what the writer was thinking about....the real question is: what do you think? Its up to the individual, and you can make it whatever you want it to be   |

for those who're into Sarah Mclachlan, you may wanna try listening to Corrinne May. She's a Singaporean, like me. But her vocals are powerful. And she can make you sad, really, no kidding. Try listening to "Fly away". Tears'll filled my eyes whenever i listen to the lyrics and the sad tune. Back to Sarah! She has gotta be my ALL-time favourite female singer. Love her other songs like "Silence"(featuring Delerium), Hold on, I love you and et cetra et cetra. Her songs makes me sad and at the same time elated? Perhaps i'm finding comfort in pain. Whatever.
