Searing Solace was commenced in 2008 with the philosophy to engage the sound of music with a new approach here in Denmark. We spent the whole year trying out different players on different instruments, in our quest to find a homogenous group of people, with similair ambitions. In the early months of 2009, we completed the line-up, and became a full five-man-group. There was no doubt. We had a rough time in front of us. And yet, with our heads raised, we've been struggling ever since to reach towards the furthest of our imagination. Of this date, we are only in the first steps of the creation of what we dream of one day becoming.
With harmonious melodies, grandiose soundscapes, Velvetsoft Piano Progressions, Shiverembracing Guitarmanifestations and a spectacular amount of energy, the band provides solid Pop/Rock music for the masses and beyond. The band's primary objective is to provide especially the danish music scene with some of the biggest landscapes of sound in music today. To secure this goal in an live environment, we sample synths, instruments and sound effects to provide the most authentic audio-environment as possible. To us, it's an existential necessity to connect the live- and studioexperience as far as possible; Playing live means playing your music with a thousand added dimensions, and however you act, however you look, however you play, and however you sound are all necessary ingredients to prove the audience a solid performance.
We were lucky to enjoy the pleasure that only the happiest of men ever could imagine having, when we had the chance to get through to the radio-listeners through a short period in 2009. We felt as if we had the exposure - the key hole to the whole world - that we never knew we would get, atleast not that early. This gave us the boost and enthusiasm to work even harder on this project, and we are looking forward to reach you with an album in the 2nd half 2010!
