Secret and Whisper - Biography

Secret and Whisper is a rock band from Canada, formed after the band Stutterfly changed its name.
The band has been officially named Secret and Whisper as of February 24, 2007. The lead singer of Stutterfly, Chris Stickney decided to leave the band shortly after being dropped from Maverick Records to go live a "normal life" but was soon in a band called Oceans Apart. After this, the rest of the band (Bradyn Byron, Jason Ciolli, Jordan Chase, and Ryan Loerke) began to search for a new vocalist.
Soon after Chris left Stutterfly, the band met up with Charles Furney, a friend of the bands' and also the lead singer of thebleedingalarm, a band Stutterfly formerly toured with. With news that Charles recently decided to leave thebleedingalarm, they decided to try to record a demo. Once the demo "Vanishings" was made, they all agreed to have Charles as their new singer. They decided to think of a new band name because of the completely different sound that Charles' voice brought to the band. Secret and Whisper's sound can be described as atmospheric.
In August 2008, via the band's MySpace page, the members reported that they were going to take a break from touring and have some time off to themselves. They will then spend time writing, and then continue touring, heading to Japan in October 2008.
