Oops, with whom are we dealing here? With Sellyy! Barely 17 years old, student of the Catholic Ursuline Convent in Graz and a new singer at Hitproof / Universal Music Austria.
Sellyys father noticed on an early age that his daughter can sing well and when the teachers in the first High school class called home to announce to Sellyy's parents that they would vote for forming super, the target became very clear: to make music and sing. She played in a few bands, covert times here and once there, until one day she came to Alexander Kahr, a producer who speaks Sellyys language and understands their music. The result is Sellyys debut single "Alles Schläft". Electro Gothic with German, often dark and mystical texts.
Sellyys uniqueness is also reflected in her appearance. Her extravagant costumes usually tailors itself better that anything. Preferably with lots of tulle and silver.
Sellyy's first live experience with a DJ and two keyboard players was at this year's Donausinselfest. "I did not realize the audience, despite the fact that my friends from Graz with a party bus came along to support. But on stage I'm in my own world total."
Her favorite artists are Marilyn Manson, Linking Park, Billy Talent, or Greenday. But Manson is number one, for which she would also like to open a concert. What are your musical dreams otherwise? "I would like to occur worldwide. That would be the hammer! First of Austria, Germany and Switzerland, then the rest of Europe and then the whole world. An MTV Award would not be bad!"
When she isn't in school, at the cemetery of the monastery or in the pub by her mother in Graz, you can find her in the studio, or Thai boxing, with its dark motocross machine on the fields.
