New video, Et Si...

The video should've been revealed next week but Shy'm decided to unveil it earlier, maybe to boost the sales of Caméléon, recently re-released. "Et Si..." is the third single from her album.

Shy'm previously announced that her new video should've been revealed next week. Finally, it appeared earlier. This afternoon, the French singer unveiled the video for "Et Si...", that is "Je Sais" singer's new single. The video is very different from her previous one. "I wanted a video without any aesthetic quality & not any styled photography" the singer said, adding a scenery. The video shows Shy'm as a young woman in an ending relationship. That's what appears during the video, before the final that gives the key of the situation.

Choosing "Et Si..." as the third single, after "Et Alors !" & "On Se Fout De Nous", wasn't easy for Shy'm. "We have hesitated a lot. "Et Si..." is a song that I love, really an universal subject. I talk about myself & my own vision of life, but it talks to everybody. If I had chosen "Caméléon", the fans' favourite, I was still talking about myself, inside me. That should've been a ballad after "On Se Fout De Nous" whereas "Et Si..." was faster, despite a nostalgic theme" she said.

Before the video for "Et Si...", Shy'm re-released her album Caméléon, that sold 140,000 copies in 6 months. A nice success for the singer, who has been a judge in "Danse Avec Les Stars" third season. The singer is currently on tour until January 4, 2013 at Paris' Bercy. The concert will be filmed & aired in 100 French cinemas on February 1 & 2, 2013.
