WTF happened to Slipknot? Their new cd SUX..and im a huge fan so it was so disappointing..my friends also went to a show recently and said that sucked too...i think it sounds so fkn KROCKish and that bothers me..does anyone agree?  |

What can U say that the new cd sux? I think all the slipknot songs r just brilliant! unfortunately, only like... 2 of my friends seems to agree... and my bro... y am i the only normal person, and y don't everyone else like metal too? fuck it, i don't care... point is, this song rox, slipknot's cool... and btw... I wonder how many of you people called yourselves maggots before this album. Now I bet most of you guys are just fans now. Not staying (SiC). For shame.
This song rules, and should mean something to people who are still (SiC).
Addmittedly, yes, their new cd is softer in prolly hopes for their songs to hit the mainstream. I think it's good, but it's not good enough. They are starting to sound like every other band now, but for now, I'm staying (SiC). |

| The new album isn't really "softer." Sure, there are a few softer songs, but that doesn't matter. Vol3 = real metal. Not saying their old stuff isn't good, but I prefer Vol3.
Now, as for this song. "Pulse of the Maggots" is what I expected to be their first single...but it wasn't. So I expected the second. Nope. That's "Vermilion." So, I guess not. It's a great song, though. |
