| i love the smashing pumpkins, but i really don't like this song
i just don't think their style of music suits the song

ok so Fleetwood Mac doing the original for "Landslide" is probably the best version
mainly because it's the original
but the Dixie Chicks version it SUCKS!! i can't see how anyone likes it
it's not original, it sounds the same, just with an added "country twist" they put in a violin
it's basically the same thing as the "Boys of Summer" cover by the Ataris is, sounds exactly the same as Don Henly's
but now the Pumpkins version is something else
sure Corgan's voice isn't eligant like it is in the Mac version, but it makes it more unique
so i say hats off to the Pumpkins
and i can't wait until their new album comes out "Soon." as it says on their myspace |
