Snow Patrol biography
Snow Patrol formed in 1994, when at Dundee University Lightbody bumped in to a guitarist, Mark McClelland. They clicked immediately, liking the same bands. They decided to form a band. Snow Patrol came as a result. When deciding upon a name, they chose the 'Polar Bears' however ex-Jane’s Addiction bassist, Eric Avery, had already claimed this name.
