AboutStanislas (real name Louis-Stanislas Renoult) is a French string arranger & singer, born on May 29, 1972 in Fontainebleau, France. His father François Renoult was a composer. Stanislas learnt music at 3 & performed at Paris' Palais Garnier at 12 to sing "Macbeth" & "La Tosca", with the great tenor Luciano Pavarotti. He studied at Suresnes' Conservatoire & Boston's Berklee College of Music & at 22, he became the leader of Massy's Orchestra. In 2000, he started arranging strings for many artists.
Stanislas & Gioacchino founded the band Pure Orchestra & their single "U & I" came out in summer 2001. Then, he worked on his brother Thibaud's album, Les Pas Perdus, released in 2006. Stanislas signed to Universal/Polydor & his debut album L'Équilibre Instable came out in November 2007, including "Le Manège" & his duet with Calogero, "La Débâcle Des Sentiments". He made his first tour in 2008 & came back in December 2009 with his second album Les Carnets De La Vigie. In 2012, Stanislas became one of the 5 members of the band Circus.
