06-09-2006 21:18 | 0 reaction(s) | add reply
Steeve Estatof was born on October 29, 1972 in Grenoble, France. He grew up in Montalieu-Vercieu, near Grenoble. Since his childhood, he liked music & started to play guitar & drums. In his twenties, he did many jobs & played in many bands (Flesh To Flesh, Frénégonde, Soundfix & Pep6) but none of them went on top. Steeve participated to Nouvelle Star in 2004, he had a grungy style & became the winner in May. His first single would have been a cover of Nino Ferrer's "Le Sud" but he changed his mind & chose another song. "Garde-Moi", written by Blankass, was Steeve's first single, released in June 2004, & his first album À L'Envers was released on August 24, 2004. On the album, he co-wrote songs with Blankass, Axel Bauer, David Hallyday & Najoua Belyzel. In 2008, Steeve came back with his second album Le Poison Idéal, 100% pop/rock/glam.
