not much of a fan like i stated b4 but i like this song...its heavier then most of there older stuff which is good although i wished they stayed heavy throughout the whole song |

Better than I ever expected. Great comeback. I love how instead of doing the usual quiet verse/loud chorus like alot of songs right now, they did loud verses and a quiet chorus. That's thinking outside the box, guys. 
Also, I found it ironic that Sum 41 wrote a song about the American media tragedy when they're from Canada. Wonder if it's any different than here? |

Just read an interview from the guys of Sum 41 and it was quite a good read... the reasoning for the fast to slow pace of the song is because that's what it was sort of like when they were in the Congo... There would be bullets and mortars going off and then the next second it was peaceful and then out of nowhere the fighting would start back up...
Anyways kick ass song... I can't wait for 'Chuck'! October 12th! |

I love this song. I love the slow parts in the minor key. Makes it sound more sad and apoligetic. Missingmyself, I totally noticed that too. How they are Canadian and they are singing about the American current events. But if you think about it, it's easier for them to point out stuff about our country. At the same time, they've been in the USA so much that they can also sympathize. Like the song says, we are a culture that has grown up in fear with alegence(sp?) to our country. I love the USA, but for the longest time I've been thinking our government is totally f'ed up and this song makes me think even harder about it. Reminds me how much I'd rather live in a foreign country. Because, who wants to live in fear for their whole lives. |

I LOVEEE this song. The meaning, the music, it has it all. I was a big fan of Sum 41's "Does this Look Infected?" album. It rocked, and this song beats it...times 10! Good song, good song.  |
