20 posts	Switchfoot's most emotional album since "The Beautiful Letdown", you can tell right from the first chord that "Hello Hurricane" was worth the three-year wait. A lot of work went into this album, especially with the band separating from their major record label and going independent, and the work has paid off. The lyrics are powerful and thought-provoking, Jon's vocals add an extra dimension to each song as he continues to experiment with his range, but most importantly, the listener can feel the emotion of each song off this album, whether it's the in-your-face, take-on-the-world fist pound of "Mess Of Me" and "Bullet Soul", or the heartbreaking sorrow of songs such as "Yet" or "Red Eyes". This is a must-listen for both Switchfoot and non-Switchfoot fans alike.
