I'm not sure if they're still there, but Jon met Bono and wanted to give him 40$ for sneaking into a concert as a kid, and Bono turned him down. Strangely enough, it the money he needed for his trip home, so...yeah. Hahhah. Stuff like that; they're probably friends with U2 now.

112 posts	rhythm melody instruments lyrics vocal AH HAH! thank you for saying that because i was wondering what this song meant...i had all sorts of ideas. at first i was thinking that "the shadow proves the sunshine" was saying that...well, shadows are dark and sunshine is bright, so i thought it was saying that through our dark times its always going to get better. dunno. i think a lot.

I could be wrong about it, but what i think it is talking about is whenever there's a though time in your life you gotta remember that you can't have a good time without a bad time. If life was full of good things all the time, how would we know they are good? You got to have bad times (shadow)sometimes so that you know there are good things (sunshine). I might be wrong but it seems logical to me.

It contains clips of the band while they were in South Africa. once again, well done switchfoot!
