i just saw these guys in concert. they were sooo good. they did this song and it was one of the only oldies that they played. a few years ago when i was in a mime group we did this song for one of our skit type drama things and all of us were robots and there was a devil and a confused girl who wanted to be like everyone else(robots). its pretty cool!

Ah, the good old days when switchfoot was christian. They dropped their christian label when beatiful letdown came out. They still have a "good message" in their new stuff, but they rarely, if ever, say God anymore, and NEVER Jesus. I was recently at one of their concerts (which rocked, by the way), and they gave a message of love and getting along with everyone, but thats more of a hippie message when it doesnt include why we should love. it's so great what they are doing...they draw people in who are generally repelled by songs that mention anything Christian related and then show them who God is. it's so amazing. people these days need that. it's not necessary that they abandoned their faith...their just evangelizing to a larger crowd |
