this is my favorite song and a walk to remember is my favorite movie...this song can just really set ur mood and i just think its amazingly well written...switchfoot rocks and is awesome in concert! |

I love this song because its more than how the movie "A Walk To Remember" portrayed it... Although it qualifies as a super romantic song for a couple to listen to, it has a deeper sense of romance... The thought that I would not sing a song for the Majesy of majesties, but ask Him to sing a aong about his creation, his galaxies, his stars... to sing a love song to me just totally blows my mind, and to me, is more romantic than any thought of dancing and singing to a girl.
Think of that when you hear it next time. This is not only a good song for the one you love, but should be a song to God from all of us. God bless!

Mandy Moore always gets the credit for this song...it means so much more than A Walk To Remember portrayed as said above, it's really about John's stong relationship with God. |

I agree--It's about God's creation. But the movie "A Walk to Remember" is so beautiful and sad. I know Switchfoot wrote the song and his version's on the soundtrack as well, I think Mandy Moore did a really good job. (Surprisingly, she's a good singer if you give her a good song -unlike Candy and I wanna Be With You). My skating coach did a program to the song...that's when I first heard it. |

Amazing song...the vocals are so beautiful. I didn't even realize it was in A Walk To Remember until nowb which is weird considering I've seen that movie at least twenty times. |

the first time i heard this song was on a walk 2 remember and i thought it was so beautiful and mandy moore sung it sooooooo well and then come to find switchfoot sang it was pretty sweet i love both versions i cant pick a fav one each has its own spice it brings the table |

I have to agree with 66Leigha66. I think Mandy Moore didn't do it as good as Jon and Switchfoot. I think she did a horrible job redoing it. It's just not the same. I love A walk to remember's soundtrack. I has a ton of Switchfoot songs on it. Even a duet between Jon and Mandy. Does a great job in the duet. Of course Jon sings so much better...... |

This song is amazing! It's amazing to hear live! I'd have to say that it's strengths lie in it's lyrics. You can't touch the lyrics. I'd much prefer the music of mandy moore's version though. Not her vocals mind you. She can't sing worth beans. Jon's vocals in this song aren't the best but I prefer them over Mandy's. |
