Sylvie Vartan surfs on the sixties

Sylvie Vartan's new album, Nouvelle Vague, is a brillant tribute to the 60's.
What about Sylvie and the ye-ye years ? The singer was an idol, a model, a full-time artist. Her songs were about youth, holidays and pleasures of love.
Now Sylvie sings the songs from the 60's, singing songs of those who, like her, were icons of the music. The melodies have elegant musical arrangements.
She sings Françoise Hardy ("Le Temps De L'Amour"), Jacques Dutronc ("Il Est Cinq Heures Paris S'Eveille"), France Gall ("Attends Ou Va-T'En", also covered by Lio in her new album Dites Au Prince Charmant), The Beatles who were opening her concerts at Paris' Olympia in 1964 ("Drive My Car"), The Rolling Stones ("Ruby Tuesday") and Leonard Cohen ("Suzanne").
Souvenirs, souvenirs...
