| What the hell? This is from Serj Tankian's book "Cool Gardens." It's not a song unless I'm completely missing something here. I know SOADfans has it under 'Demos' but really now. That is definitely Serj's poem. Ummmm....yeah...dude. If you really know so much about SOAD then you do know that Serj write a LOT of SOAD songs and that "Cool Gardens" is Serj Tankian's best work over the last EIGHT...count them...8 years.
The song is off of SOAD's 2002 CD called "Storaged Melodies". If you haven't listened to it then do it! It's shows how diverse SOAD can actually be. It's not a massively famous CD because SOAD didn't want it to be. simple as that.
The song "blue" off of Serj Tankian's Elect the Dead bonus CD is also on there, but it sounds more rough.
SOAD does have 11 CDs and tons of demos so don;t just limit yourself to just the 5 major CDs. Have fun exploring. Bye and thank you. |
