They havent made a song like spiders since...well, since spiders. its been all downihill since their first album.

But nonetheless, as political as they are, I frickin love this song so much!!! It's such a change from their other stuff. It's actually a normal, soothing song with great vocals. So un-systemish. Probably the best on the CD. SO much better than "It's a non-stop disco, betcha it's Nabisco. Betcha didn't know WHOOHO."

1,940 posts	oh really cj37? please tell me the songs from soads first album that were political. and by that i mean; songs that are as openly political as their new stuff. yes, they did have one or two songs that aluded (sp?) to politics, but for the most part, their earlier songs werent political. please dont try to lecture me about soad. id put money on it that i know more about them than you do.

1,940 posts	ok. yes. pluck and war were political songs. ill give you that. they were also, in my opinion, the worst songs on the album. but theres a big step up from 2 political songs out of a 13 track cd to an entire cd in which politics features in every song. at the time of their first cd, they may have been a political band, but they werent playing solely political songs. in fact, screw that. war isnt a particularly political song at all, apart from the title. so that leaves one completely political song on the album.

2 posts	rhythm melody instruments lyrics vocal this album is not solely about politics only a couple of songs are, do u hear anyfing about politics in violent pornography, question, even dis song. infact only a couple of songs on dis album are openly about politics which is BYOB, the rest of the songs are almost completely irrelevant 2 politics or at least not directly about politics. dis album has got a different sound and a feel 2 it then the 1st album, which il have 2 agree with u is the best, but dis album still rocks n i cant wait till hypnotise

As far as "Lost In Hollywood", I can easily tell you that I'm not much a fan of Daron's singing, but besides a few parts in this song where he's off-key, it's rather well crafted.
