Can't get it outta my head! Seriously . . . Daron is so awesome . . . his voice is amazing . . . and this song is GREAT live! SOAD have always been political . . . always against genocide! Its great that a band cares so much . . . most bands are usually self obsessed jerks . . . who couldnt care less about anyone, anything, or world issues . . . other than themselves and their popularity! It so awesome System isnt one of those bands! They care about world issues and i think its awesome that they are using their popularity to spread the word and make others aware! SOAD 4EVA! First off P.L.U.C.K. isnt political.The SOAD members are all desendants of armenia and there was a massacare there and genocide problem.In the song PLUCK "earase genocide" is realated to this in armenia.Now this song isnt political either....Serj and Darron had to grow up in L.A. Hollywood and it was a corrupt system.The school system,jobs,market, were corrupt.

hehe, weird, there just came an advertisement on the tv about kids' programs and in the back they played Question! (instrumental part), never seen that one before... but the truth is you can't choose the best one of your children either (not that i'd have any  )

"you should have never trusted hollywood".. other stuff on this song are crap.. However, system of a down have always been political, but in a more.. their greatest songs are so damn political, but the beauty was that they were covered with such metaphors than one would have to really think about meanings. I believe this song is shallow. Chop suey, toxicity, even spiders, and many others all have political meanings... But they are like 10 times better than this.... I miss the chill soad used to give me while listening to their songs.. this material is not as good, sorry.. |
