| i think g means we are lost and we are looking to find are selves and we all talk and stuff and are all the same but we dant ask for questions we just put up are walls and start to die............but i may be wrong....most likly im wrong but thats wut i think ......i love this dong though   |

| Actually, I believe it has something to do with the idea that in the afterlife, we lose our personality, to join some common pool of consciousness and finally see ultimate reality. We 'lose ourselves but find it all' 'in the void.' The river represents life, since it seems one-way (i.e. birth to death, but never the reverse). The small mind would be the narrow perspective that mortality imposes. |

One of the most common System songs, I can understand why it's so popular though, great melody, tune, Serj's vocals are great. Nice bass etc. Not nearly SOAD's best though, dig deeper.  |

I love this song! I've made a few more replies for songs on here and all of them that I have put good ratings for all were the dim and solemn songs. Those are just my thing.  I don't really like the Britney Spears songs or people like that. |

My favorite song so far besides "chop suey".
i agree about what they say.the part "...lose small mind...",and "... eternal prise...",is pretty corny.i do feel like they should have put diferent words.  |

This song could mean something from above (aerials) but it also could mean something else. Like: We drink from the river, then we turn around and put up our walls.
I think that means we drink from the river, find it good and claim it and not share it cuz of greed. |
