Think about some of their lyrics they've used in earlier songs. A good example from another SOAD hit Chop Suey "I don't think you trust, In, my, self righteous suicide, I, cry, when angels deserve to die In my, self righteous suicide, I, cry, when angels deserve to die Father, Father, Father, Father, Father/ Into your hands/I/commend my spirit, Father, into your hands, Why have you forsaken me, In your eyes forsaken me, In your thoughts forsaken me, In your heart forsaken, me oh, Trust in my self righteous suicide, I, cry, when angels deserve to die, In my self righteous suicide, I, cry, when angels deserve to die" They are constantly using anti-semitic references in their songs. This is a band that has very deep lyrics in most of their songs and that means they can be interpreted different ways. According to the Bible Jesus said something like "Father, why have you forsaken me" as he was dying. He also could have called down angels to kill his attackers but he didn't. Then in the song, they mention all of these things before mentioning a self-righteous suicide. Could that too not be interpreted as demonic or satanic or however you guys worded it earlier? Just let the song mean to you what you interpret it as. They're not a gospel band so if they say shit like that, oh well, no one is making you listen to it. Great song also.
