I'm not sure but I believe the song is about Independence Day and how we celebrate, but Serj is trying to give off the vibe that there really isn't nothing to celebrate about. (Hense the verses before the chorus). Good song though, a serious message in a fun song is very very rare.  |

| Serj's vocals are soooo fast and insane..that's why i love SOAD so much!  They have a serious message behind their songs but they are so fun and incredibly insane  my fave album has to be toxicity (although all their songs rock, on all 3 of their albums) |

I got this cd the week it came out, and was puzzled but petrified (in a good way) by this song. It's a damn good song. Serj's vocals are deep, dark and all that is good in a lead singer. |
