Song lyrics
The whole truth,
And nothing but the truth.
Stop me if you've heard this one before.
The whole truth, (The whole truth.)
Is nothing but a good excuse, (Good excuse.)
"So as long as you don't torture me with my past. "
Let's be honest; a secret silenced,
Is a secret safe.

Miami, Miami, Miami.
Well every hour on the hour,
(Every hour on the hour.)
You have to,
You just have to trust me.
Whoever I was then,
I can't ever be again.

Reminders they are not reluctant,
So stop me if you've heard this one before.
Sideways blinders;
I can't find a way, (A way.)
Around. (Around a way.)
A way, (Around.)

Miami, Miami, Miami.
Well every hour on the hour,
(Every hour on the hour.)
You have to,
You just have to trust me.
Whoever I was then,
I can't ever be again.

The faith you've found I've never felt. (Never felt.)
Never felt.
(The faith you've found I've never felt.)
The terror held in wedding bells,
And comfort in, "There's no one else."
The truth be told I'm never gonna know. (Never.)

Miami, Miami, Miami.
Well every hour on the hour.
(Every hour on the hour.)
Unhand me, god damn me, Miami.
Whoever I was then I cant ever be again.

The terror held in wedding bells.
The comfort in, "There's no one else. "
The truth be told I'm never gonna know.
The terror held in wedding bells.
The comfort in "There's no one else."
The truth be told I'm never gonna know.

I love this song but it kind of annoys me how on Louder Now the names of most of the songs are actually relevant to the context of the song. This song is called Miami becuase he repeats Miami like a billion times, which is good I guess but I love how on Tell All Your Friends and Where You Want To Be, the titles have nothing to do with the song lyrics.

and I totally agree about the names of the songs...what's up with that...the names of their other songs were more creative and actually made you think about what they might mean...

What is this chorus?

And I agree about the song titles, it's a VERY drastic change for TBS. I just got the album and so far I have to say it's dissapointing. The track I've liked the most is Twenty-Twenty Surgery. Almost every song repeats the title of it in the chorus again and again, it's like they ran out of stuff to write about.

The guitar has gotten better though, wich is a good thing. Maybe it'll grow on me later, let's hope that.

haha i think it makes sense to have the title of the song relative to the lyrics... but whatever floats ur boat

i still love this song a lot.
i just hate how everyone's all 'oh my gosh they always repeat the same lyrics in this cd' when that's how they've always been. that's one of the key things to being taking back sunday- repetition.
and as to the title of the songs being relavent to the song, it does make sense to do this. i know tbs didn't used to do this, but a lot more bands do nowadays. maybe they had a part in starting that trend. if someone didn't know who tbs was and saw the titles of the song had nothing to do with the song, they would think that they are exactly like panic! at the disco and fall out boy (not saying i don't like them).
all in all, this stuff doesn't bother me. tbs will always be amazing.

TBS is awesome and i dont care who ya are ya gota love em! I love louder it is acctually one of the newer cds out there that doesnt sound like every other band... You can tell the difference and the whole song name lyrics thing... Maybe they did it to see if people would notice and what they would think of it...I give it 2 thumbs way up!
