Song lyrics
I am he as you are he as you are me
And we are all together
See how they run like pigs from a gun
See how they fly
I'm crying

Sitting on a cornflake, waiting for the van to come
Corporation tee-shirts
Stupid bloody Tuesday, man you've been a naughty boy
You've let your face grow long

I am the Eggman (Ohh!)
They are the Eggmen (Ohh!)
I am the Walrus
Goo goo g'joob

Mister city policeman sitting, pretty little
policemen in a row
See how they fly like Lucy in the sky
See how they run
I'm crying
I'm cry----ing
I'm crying
I'm cry----ing

Yellow matter custard
Dripping from a dead dog's eye
Crabalocker fishwife
Pornographic priestess
Boy, you've been a naughty girl
You let your knickers down

I am the Eggman (Ohh!)
They are the Eggmen (Ohh!)
I am the Walrus
Goo goo g'joob

Sitting in an English garden waiting for the Sun
If the Sun don't come you get a tan
From standing in the English rain

I am the Eggman
They are the Eggmen
I am the Walrus
Goo goo g'joob
Goo goo goo g'joob

Expert textpert, choking smokers
Don't you think the joker laughs at you?
Ho ho ho, he he he, ha ha ha
See how they smile like pigs in a sty
See how they snied
I'm crying

Semolina Pilchard
Climbing up the Eiffel Tower
Elementary penguin singin' Hare Krishna
Man, you should have seen them kicking
Edgar Allen Poe

I am the Eggman
They are the Eggmen
I am the Walrus
Goo goo g'joob
Goo goo goo g'joob
Goo goo g'joob
Goo goo goo g'joob
Goo goo
Jooba Jooba Jooba
Jooba Jooba
Jooba Jooba Jooba
Jooba Jooba
Jooba Jooba
(Oompah, oompah, stick it up your jumper,
Oompah, oompah, stick it up your jumper,
Everybody's got one, everybody's got one)
(Repeat and fade)

The egg-mans say in the end. (if you take away all the sounds that are over it, then you will hear..) "haha, Paul is dead, haha, Paul is dead." Paul mcCartney is dead. The walrus is Paul. When they found his body in the lake he looked just like a walrus with his teeth outside his mouth and his feet up his knees. A polis man said "It seems lika a walrus." Then John screamed, "I.. I am the walrus! .. Not him! (Paul).. I.. I AM THE WALRUS!!" Thats so fucking sad!!

By the way, did anyone recall what they're saying after the "english garden part, you know, that old man that speaks at the same time as John is singing eggman, walrus. I think he sais "are you sir?" and "the man they paid a fortune....." or is it?

This song could NOT have been better. I love it. Except the one part....

"Yellow matter Custard dripping from the dead dog's eye...."

I hate that part. Reminds me of my old dog who was like a sister to me. She died . She was always there for me though.

parker man:

you said that people are trying to interpret the lyrics of this song....but here's john lennon's quote on this song when he was asked what it means:

"Dylan got away with murdur,so I thought I could write this crap too".-John Lennon

Yes,folks,I Am The Walrus DOESN'T MEAN ANYTHING.its a great song, but it doesnt mean anything.
not that it matters,ha-ha.

One of the greatest songs I've ever heard, it's amazing the whole CD is so unknown.

The end also sounds like "Everybody's fucked up", which is what I was originally told they were saying.

And the Koo Koo Kachoo thing is from Simon and Garfunkle's Mrs. Robinson.

"I am the walrus
Goo Goo G'Joob"

"Koo Koo Kachoo Mrs. Robinson,
Jesus loves you more than you know."

Lennon's best. He wrote as a means of satirising the over-analysis of song lyrics. However, some clueless people are still trying to interpret them.
