The Beatles have a way with creating really meaningful and deep songs that are pretty upbeat yet sad at the same time. This song makes me reflect...
But of all these friends and lovers
There is no one that compares to you |

I love this song soo much! It was my sister's graduation song, and they played it as she and her classmates were walking off of the stage. It made me want to cry.
The Beatles have such a way with words (sorry, cliche') and they project such meaning. I love it! |

So many people hate the Beatles, but i am not one of them, i love them, all of their music is so original and unique. Each song, like this one, has it's own definition and background. This song is rather touching, actually. i just love it |

Probably the greatest Beatles song ever! It's so beautiful and meaningful, and really true to life. This song is John Lennon being a complete genius, there is nothing wrong with this song, it's just perfect. :thumb: |

First of all...it's the Beatles 'nuff said
Lennon and McCartney were the best lyricists of their generation. And this song is poignant, direct and still pertinent 40 years after it was written and recorded. Read the reactions of all who posted........young people had it played at their graduations and funerals, older people listen to it and wistfully remember their youth.
This song is the best of the best. Simple but enduring.
