I personally love the Beatles. Everything they have ever done, but I think Jet blows and they're song "Look What You Done" is a blatant rip off of this song. It's not just merely influenced by this song...they took parts directly from it. Screw Jet and Radiohead. The Beatles were the one and only. The Beatles themselves, well more specifically John, said, "Before Elvis there was nothing." Elvis was a showman. He was a mover and shaker. I don't think The Beatles even realized what an impact they made on the actual music itself. They looked up to Elvis, but he broke the boundaries for what you can do on stage..he didnt change music one bit. Elvis sucked, but The Beatles....they were true musicians. They loved Elvis and did their own thing. I love the Beatles, but when I write music I don't try to sound like anyone but myself. So, in my opinion Jet and Radiohead are ripoffs and are not real musicians. |
