 The Police, who got a great come-back on stage, with one of the most successful rock tours, will release a new live DVD on November 10 : Certifiable.
Recorded at Buenos Aires' Monumental Antonio V Liberti Stadium in December 2007, Certifiable, the new live DVD of Sting's band, The Police, will be released on November 10. It's about the come-back on tour of a great rock band.
Disbanded in 1984, the British trio The Police (Sting on vocals, Andy Summers on guitar & Stewart Copeland on drums) reformed last year for a great tour, started on May 28, 2007 in Canada. After that, the band played in North & South America, Europe, Oceania & Asia. In France, the 79,000 tickets for the concert at Paris' Stade De France on September 29, 2007 were sold in only one hour & half ! Finally, 250,000 people saw The Police on tour in France in 2007...
The guitarist said he was happy with the band's live performance. But no album is scheduled yet, because the band has no songs anymore.

The band had released 5 albums between 1977 & 1984, with hits like "Roxanne", "Message In A Bottle" & "Every Breath You Take". This rock/pop/reggae cocktail was a nice start but problems in the band shortened the story.
