Remember the hit "In The Shadows" in 2004, before the rock wave... The Rasmus will be back on September 26 with Black Roses, their seventh album, including the first single "Living In A World Without You".
The Finnish band The Rasmus has been the surprise 4 years ago, with their hit "In The Shadows" (N°6 in France in 2004), which has been used for Laurent Ruquier's show "On N'Est Pas Couché" on France 2 & the band will be back with their seventh studio album Black Roses, released on September 26. The album has been recorded in their studio Dynasty Recording but also in Nashville, TN, produced by Desmond Child & Harry Sommerdahl. The first single "Living In A World Without You" could be a hit.
The members had met in high school & played on local scenes. The band released 3 albums (all of them gold disc in Finland) & went on tour in their country. In 2001, Europe (mostly Germany) discovered them with their album Into. 2003 was the year of the success : their album Dead Letters became N°1, the song & the video "In The Shadows" were aired everywhere in Europe. In 2004, they were successful in the United States, Canada & Mexico. Today, The Rasmus is one of the Finnish bands which sold 2 million albums in the world.
