AboutThe Shoes (previously known as Benja & Fatalis, then The Film) is a duet based in Bordeaux, France, consisting of Guillaume Brière & Benjamin Lebeau (both from Reims). Before The Shoes, Brière & Lebeau discovered electronic music & explored drum & bass under the name Time Stretcher. The duet also remixed Autour De Lucie as Benja & Fatalis.
The Film (2004-2008)
Under the name The Film, the duet released their debut album in 2005. 10 of the 11 songs are sung in English. The song "Can You Touch Me?" has been used in a TV commercial & the band performed at Rock En Seine. In April 2007, The Film performed at Abril Pro Rock in Brazil.
The Shoes
In 2008, The Film became The Shoes & left pop-rock, turning to electronic. In 2011, the album Crack My Bones included the single "Time To Dance".
