 You have surely heard the song "Rich Girls" by the New York-based band The Virgins. They are currently on tour, in the UK, Italy, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, the Netherlands, Ireland & France, on March 30 at Paris' Trabendo.
The Virgins is a quartet from New York, whose single "Rich Girls" is aired on radios, maybe a hit in the next few weeks. The band has 4 members : singer Donald Cumming, guitarist Wade Oates, bassist Nick Zarin-Ackerman & drummer Erik Ratensperger.
Their first self-titled album pays tribute to New York-based "arty" bands, like Velvet Underground & Talking Heads. "For our music, we've been inspired by many things. Other musical bands, rock, disco, punk & 90's hip-hop. We're very productive when we are together. We try things & we compose interesting music" Donald Cumming said.
The band is currently on tour in Europe, going to France on March 30 at Paris' Trabendo & also on March 28 in Le Havre, March 31 in Strasbourg & April 1 in Lyon.
