Out here in the fields
I fight for my meals I get my back into my living I don't need to fight To prove I'm right I don't need to be forgiven Don't cry Don't raise your eye It's only teenage wasteland Sally ,take my hand Travel south crossland Put out the fire Don't look past my shoulder The exodus is here The happy ones are near Let's get together Before we get much older Teenage wasteland It's only teenage wasteland Teenage wasteland Oh, oh Teenage wasteland They're all wasted! |

20 posts | PERFECTION......No other way to describe this song. When The Who played this song for the NYPD and NYFD at the Concert for NY after 9/11, they stole the show. |

3,035 posts | This is definitely my favorite song of all time...it's amazing.
And by looking at what everybody else wrote here, I learned something new about it...I didn't even know it was the theme song for CSI: New York. Maybe because I've never watched the show hahaha. But that's sort of cool, I'm glad this song is being recognized. |

2 posts | Alright, I just made a mixed playlist with this song and a few others on iTunes, and I have to tell you guys about it. I put the song "Get It Poppin'" by Fat Joe right after Baba O'Riley, and the fade between the two songs is so awesome. It works out perfectly, which is really weird. You have to try this if you have iTunes. |

13 posts | quote: "it is a great song, the guitar intro is great, i also like that they play it at New York Yankee Games before the players come out on the field, it gives me chills....I am a die hard yankee fan"
Y'know, I'm European but when visited NYC, we went to Yankees game and I was shocked. My mom gave me strange look when I said "CSINY!" Before you say anything, I knew the band before CSI shows :p |

4 posts | screw CSI, the song doesn't have anyhting to do with the show. The song was originally about Vietnam and the kids that were sent to fight. There are plenty of other Who songs that would have worked better than this one |

49 posts | Shoombaba!
It knocks the gates of the soul and begs entrance with a multitude of repetitive and altering electronic taps. Welcomed by the messages of freedom, one can see how the corporate schmucks of the Ba'hck Heimer have reduced the song's capacity to the obnoxious noise Hilary Duff spawns from her buttocks. To all the Schmucks up there (You know who you are): Go listen to Corporate Noise! Leave Classic Rock alone forever. By the By, Bargain is a bit better than Baba. |

This song's amazing, from the beginning until the end. It's a great example of melodic rock and oh, how it proves once again that modern music sucks ass... |
