I love this song.. you can hear the hurt in his voice. It makes me think about how i'll be leaving my boyfriend next year for college

I love the way this song moves. It begins mellow and quickly kicks up to a fun thrashing pulse. I am absolutely unsure about what the lyrics mean... maybe nothing. But, I can't help noticing all the references to the JFK assassination. "Jackie O with the top down open...put together everything that's broken..." They were in an open-top car and people on the scene said she literally tried to put the pieces of his head back together. This brings another point to mind... Third Eye Blind has a weird way of taking something potentially sick and dark and melding it with some beautiful song structure and lyrical delivery to make it irresistable!
