Special Best Of

A lot of Best Of are released this autumn... But Thomas Fersen's Best Of Gratte-Moi La Puce is very original.

For his first Best Of Gratte-Moi La Puce, Thomas Fersen re-recorded his songs with a ukulele (the instrument played by Julien Doré in Nouvelle Star casting). 21 songs (with an unreleased one, "Georges") have been re-sung by their author : "Les Papillons", "Monsieur", "Croque", "Hyacinthe", "Le Bal Des Oiseaux"...

"There are 4 ukulele sizes, like Dalton brothers. I took the smallest, the angriest : soprano" said the singer.

We could also sing these songs too. Once, songwriters saw their songs behind an illustrated cover : cliffs for "La Paimpolaise", bell tower for "Douce France"... Today, these songs are not studio or live but naked.

Thomas Fersen recently composed a duet for Vanessa Paradis & Mathieu Chedid, "Les Piles", on Vanessa's new album Divinidylle.
