ACTUALLY he's a good one, but this song just doesn't sound good with him... and I just don't think it's right that Bethany Joy Lenz and Tyler Hilton produced this song LONG before him, and never got any recognition for it, but he makes a kinda bad remake and gets ALL of the recognition for it!! It just isn't right *and i am entitled to my own opinion just like ANYONE else on here*

12 posts	I didnt even know there were other versions of this song..but i did listen to them for the first time just now. They are good too but Tim still had the country in his voice that I just love.

I don't care if it is a remake- i have never heard it from another artist and for that matter have never heard of the other artists that supposedly sing this song. For those of you who said you don't understand it, here is my take on what it means......dance when you are lonely and when you are sad, no matter where you are at and what you are doing. dancing will make you happy and even if it doesnt, it will help you feel better and oh by the way, i will be there wherever you happen to be dancing even at daylight when the sky lightens up and the stars disappear into the blue. That is just my opinion of what the lyrics mean.

I have no further opinions to add to the discussion, just wanted to correct some of you who are saying that he "stole" the song from Tyler Hilton or whoever. While Hilton did cover the song for whatever it was, why don't you check out Ryan Adams' 2001 release titled Gold. Track 7. Tyler Hilton and Tim McGraw have both done their own covers of it, and don't call it stolen. I'm sure both McGraw and Hilton gave Adams the songwriting credit in the liner notes.

I don't know what day it will go to number 1 by Tim Mcgraw but it will. I'm saying this on Nov. 7th 2006. Also, no one has mentioned the songwriter. The songwriter is [Ryan Adams]. He's the one who really gets the credit for the song itself. Let's keep in mind that what these singers are doing always starts with the songerwriter. Without the songwriter the singer would have nothing. Sometimes the singer and the songwriter are the same person. That is not the case with "When The Stars Go Blue". It's a wonderful song, it is done well by Mcgraw and it deserves to go to number 1.
